Grand Canyon White Water
July 15 -23, 2009

ruins WOW! 9 days and 8 nights of white water and adventure. We explored the best the Grand Canyon had to offer. It began with an overnight stay in Las Vegas, then off to Lee's Ferry where we started our journey. We traveled 188 miles down the mighty Colorado river, camping, hiking, laughing, and experiencing the amazing beauty of nature; riding big white water all the way. Each day offered something new and magnificent, the sounds, the sights, the waterfalls, with hikes to the Granary, Little Colorado River, Red Rock Cavern, Deer Creek Falls and Havasue Falls. just to name a few. The galaxies of stars and the food where both spectacular.

On the seventh morning we took a helicopter for a scenic ride out of the canyon to Bar 10 Ranch and spent the morning shooting skeet and riding ATV's. From there, a small private aircraft flew us back to the bright lights of Las Vegas for one final night of bliss.

I would like to express a very special thank you to Dan, Barry, Shane, Enrico, Larry, John, Rick, Jeff and Kelly for your wonderful energy and unique personalities. I thoroughly enjoyed your company and hope to have the privilege of doing so again on another MJW Adventure.
